straw, peach Sal & terrine cheese (14)

Ripe juicy strawberries and Sonomic Gold shine in this salad dressing.
Dressing:
1/3 cup strawberry puree
1 Tbs. Sonomic Gold
1 Tbs. red wine vinegar
1 small shallot, minced
1 Tbs. fresh tarragon, chopped
1 Tbs. fresh thyme, chopped
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/3 cup walnut oil
Salt and pepper
Put the first 7 ingredients into a cuisinart and pulse to combine. With the cuisinart running, slowly drizzle in the walnut oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Use the dressing on a salad with mixed greens, sliced strawberries and Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese. Sprinkle the salad with walnuts and serve.
