1-2 Tbs. butter
2 firm, ripe pears, unpeeled
2 Tbs. Sonomic Almost Vinegar Red

Melt butter in a flat baking dish.
Cut pears in half and scoop out the core.
Place pears in the pan cut side down. Roast at 400 degrees for 20 minutes,
Splash two tablespoons of Sonomic Red into the pan. Tilt the pan to mix the pear juices, Sonomic, and butter.
Roast for another 5 minutes.
Remove pears from pan and place on serving plate cut side up.
Spoon some of the liquid from the pan into the centers of the pears.
Serve warm or at room temperature, for a perfect dessert.
