GRAPPA — WOODED

Every year, a portion of our grappa is reserved for barrel aging. This release was aged in a used chardonnay barrel for 4 years before bottling.

The wood aging is first evident in the appearance – a clear, pale straw color. On the palate, a delicate earthy peatiness is immediately present –much like a fine single malt Scotch. The finish is warm, very smooth, and long-lived.
