Two big handfuls of Port-Soaked Strawberries

2 c fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 oz Sonoma Portworks Petite Sirah or CA Port
1 oz Grade B maple syrup
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp fresh orange zest

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Store in air-tight container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze.
